Nvidia on Thursday launched a new family of open-weight models built to run always-on AI agents, both inside enterprise data centers and directly on AI PCs. The headline release is Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, a 120-billion-parameter model aimed at enterprise agents. According to Nvidia, it uses fewer parameters than its Nemotron 3 Ultra model while delivering similar accuracy on instruction-following and tool-use tasks.
The move matters because Nvidia is betting on two trends at once: companies that want to run their own open models on their own infrastructure, and consumers and developers who want private agents that never send data to the cloud. Nvidia says Super VL and the mid-size Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B 24GB are available now, while the smallest model, Bolt E4B, arrives later this month.

Nvidia's two-tier strategy splits the market by deployment target rather than by capability alone. Super VL is positioned for organizations running agents on Nvidia infrastructure, while the Bolt models target local execution on hardware such as the Nvidia RTX Spark chip and DGX Spark workstations.
According to TechCrunch, those AI PCs, aimed at consumers, programmers and enterprise knowledge workers, are being released into the market right now through partners including Microsoft and Dell. Nvidia's vice president of Open Models and Software, Kari Briski, said in a blog post that organizations "can post-train Super VL on their own data, deploy it on their own infrastructure and own what they build."
