Google's Pixel Watch 5 is now selling at its lowest price ever, weeks before Black Friday. The 41mm Wi-Fi model has dropped to $300 from $400, a 25 percent discount, according to WIRED. The larger 45mm Wi-Fi model is down to $330 from $430. These early Black Friday deals are live at Amazon, Best Buy and the Google Store, but it's unclear how long they will last.
The timing matters for anyone in Tunisia eyeing a smartwatch. Black Friday is still weeks away, yet retailers are already offering deep discounts on Google's latest wearable. WIRED recommends not waiting, as this is the lowest price it has seen for the Pixel Watch 5.
Pixel Watch 5 specs and features
The Pixel Watch 5 is a refinement of its predecessor, with double the RAM and storage, plus an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor that makes it 20 percent faster than the Pixel Watch 4. The domed display is bright and comfortable, and the watch packs meaningful health and fitness upgrades.
New features include a Strength Training experience with a workout builder, audio cues and rest times. You can create custom routines in the Google Health app and even ask Gemini AI to generate a workout from a photo of your gym equipment. The watch also supports offline tasks like starting a workout without your phone.
Google's Health Guardian tools monitor insulin resistance trends, blood pressure trends, breathing emergencies (in select countries) and sleep breathing quality. The watch retains ECG, skin temperature tracking and loss-of-pulse detection. Google claims 15 percent greater sleep tracking accuracy than the Pixel Watch 4.
Battery life is estimated at up to 40 hours, though WIRED's testing got around 36 hours. Fast charging is a standout: 15 minutes on the charger delivers up to 15 hours of use.
