Anthropic has launched two new beta features for Claude that push the assistant beyond chat and into data work and video production. Dashboards turns connected data sources such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake and Salesforce into live dashboards generated from a text prompt, while Motion builds animated explainer videos from text, diagrams and images.
According to Android Authority and The Decoder, Dashboards is available to paid users, and Motion is limited to Team and Enterprise plans for now. At the same time, Docs, Slides and Design have left beta and now work across all plans, including free accounts — a shift that widens Claude's reach well beyond paying teams.
Claude Dashboards turns data sources into live reports
Dashboards connects to external data platforms and generates auto-updating views from a short text prompt. Anthropic says every number displayed in a dashboard shows the underlying query behind it, so users can trace how a figure was produced instead of trusting a black box.
Results can also be piped into tools like Amplitude, Grafana or Hex, which matters for teams that already run their monitoring and analytics stacks on those platforms. The feature is in beta and reserved for paid Claude users.
- Connects to BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake and Salesforce
- Builds auto-updating dashboards from text prompts
- Every figure shows its underlying query
- Output can feed Amplitude, Grafana or Hex
