The Galaxy S27 Ultra color list has apparently surfaced, and for once Purple is missing. According to a short post on Twitter/X by leaker @UniverseIce, relayed by 9to5Google, Samsung's next flagship will come in four base colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink and White.
That list covers only the standard variants, not the Samsung online exclusive colorways that usually add one or two extra hues sold only through the company's own website. Samsung has not confirmed any of this, and the phones are expected early next year.
Galaxy S27 Ultra colors: what the leaks say
Earlier leaks pointed to five options, the same four shades plus Purple. It is not clear whether Purple was dropped entirely this cycle or moved to the online exclusive lineup, which carries no price premium but is unavailable from third-party retailers.
If Purple really disappears, it would be a first in four years for the Ultra line. The Galaxy S23 Ultra shipped in Lavender in 2023, and every Ultra since has offered a similar shade. Android Authority notes that Light Pink sits very close to Lavender on the color wheel, so the gap may be smaller than it sounds.
- Black, Blue, Light Pink and White: the four base colors reported by @UniverseIce
- Purple: absent from the base list, possibly an online exclusive
- Light Pink: close to the Lavender used on previous Ultra models
- Launch timing: expected early next year, per earlier reports
