Apple says the App Store now hosts well over 100,000 apps built for the iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable iPhone. The claim comes two weeks after the device officially went on sale, and Apple adds that thousands of optimized apps are being added to the store every day.
Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, called the developer response "wonderful" and said the company is grateful for the "creativity and innovation" behind the wave of updates. The milestone matters because app support was one of the loudest criticisms in early iPhone Duo reviews.
Which apps are optimized for iPhone Duo
Apple timed the announcement with a fresh batch of Duo-ready apps. Among the new arrivals are Microsoft Word and Outlook, Zoom, NBA and NHL apps, Etsy and LTK, Goodnotes, Extra and the Halide Mark III camera app.
These join apps that were ready closer to launch, including Netflix, YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp. Apple also published a longer list of titles updated for iOS 27 and optimized for the Duo, though the company notes that not every update has fully rolled out yet.
Apps with the "Made for iPhone Duo" badge get a spot on their App Store product page. Apple is also curating collections such as "Popular Apps on iPhone Duo" and "Great Games on iPhone Duo".
