Google has started rolling out Google Health version 5.12 for Android and iOS, bringing manual blood pressure logging, a redesign of glucose tracking and new pregnancy tools. The update follows a sizable release last month and was first reported by 9to5Google on November 6, 2026.
The headline addition is the ability to log blood pressure readings by hand or sync them from another app through Apple Health or Health Connect. Google says a research AI can already estimate hypertension risk from a regular smartwatch, but the app stops short of offering a medical diagnosis.
Google Health 5.12 features: blood pressure, glucose and pregnancy
Manual logging works through the +Log button in the Today tab, where users pick Blood pressure and enter a reading. Graphs appear under the Heart section of the Health tab, and Premium subscribers can log by chatting with Google Health Coach.
The glucose graph has been rebuilt to overlay logged and tracked events such as exercise, sleep and nutrition, and events can now be logged straight from the chart in the Metabolic Health section. Pregnancy logging, meanwhile, sits inside Cycle Health settings and switches the cycle page to show current weeks of pregnancy.
Google also lists updates to medical records, nutrition, resilience and the Health Coach in this release. The company notes that personal health records stored with Google may not be complete or accurate and that users should consult a doctor for medical advice.
